Blisters when I wear Skechers shoes

Blisters resulting from new shoes are a very common experience for most of us and the most common reason is due to friction caused from the skin rubbing against the fabric. These blisters will go away once the shoes become more seasoned and the fabric becomes softer after wearing them a few more times.

SKECHERS would like to assure you that the shoes are not defective and there are a few options that you can try to resolve it.

Customer may try following option:

1. Socks:

a. Wear a pair of higher socks which are above your ankle. This will stop your skin from coming in contact with the fabric of the shoe.

b. If you are already wearing such socks. I recommend getting a 2-layered socks or anti-blister socks to minimize the friction between your skin and the shoe material. They are available on online shopping platforms

2. Blister Tapes or lubricants:

a. To minimize the friction and heat which is causing the blister. You may use blister tape  or apply lubricants around the affected area so that the skin is not coming in direct contact with the shoe. This will reduce the friction heat which causes blisters and prevent new blisters from forming.
